YO JING Swim Academy offers swimming classes from the toddlers to master swimmers. We also provide private lessons for athletic swimmers who are willing to have the highest performance in competitive swimming. Our focus is to give the swimmers safe, fun, competitive, professional, friendly, and welcoming lessons based on their needs. In YO JING, toddlers and beginners have to select our Breaststroke Introduction classes. Other advanced swimmers without breaststroke skills have to start with our Breaststroke level classes. Students who are willing to achieve better swimming performance in competitions may choose our Competitive Long Term Training level classes. If you need our help to decide the class level, please feel free to contact us. We may offer a school tour and free test to help you make a decision.

Tier Five

Stroke Skills

Breaststroke

Requirement

Age 5 and up.

Class Agenda

Basics of body position, breathing, kick, catch, and pull. Catch and pull independently helps much when putting it all back together.

Goals

To swim 25 yards of Breaststroke.

Tier Four

Stroke Skills

Freestyle

Requirement

Finished Tier Five/T5 lessons and passed the tests; swim 50 yards of backstroke. ( non-yojing student)

Class Agenda

The introduction of kick w/pointed toes, side breathe, straight arm, and catchup drill. Students will also develop and strengthen breaststroke skills.

Goals

To Swim 100 yards of catch-up Freestyle.

Tier Three

Stroke Skills

Backstroke.

Requirement

Finished Tier Four/T4 lessons and passed the tests; swim 100 yards of freestyle and breaststroke with one pull, one kick and one breathe. ( non-yoking student)

Class Agenda

Body position/balance, breathe, kick, and arm movement are the foundation. Arm count from flag to wall and leave from the wall will be introduced.

Goals

To swim 200 yards of Backstroke, improve technique skills, increase endurance, and increase speed.

Stroke Skills

Butterfly.

Requirement

Finished Tier Three/T3 lessons and passed the test; swim 200 yards of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke with one pull, one kick and one breathe. (Non-yojing student)

Class Agenda

Lessons will focus on the how-to maintain kicks, arm recover and inhale, and head rotation. A high-elbow arm move will be introduced at this level.

Goals

To swim 200 yards of Butterfly, improve technique skills, increase endurance, and increase speed.

Stroke Skills

Competitive Long-term Training.

Requirement

Age 7 year and up; swim team member; proficiency of four strokes

Class Agenda

In this stage, swimmers will participate different levels of competitions. Swimmers will continue to develop competition skills, speed and endurance deeply.

Goals

To improve technique skills, increase endurance, increase speed and competition records, and stay active and consistent as possible in the sport of swimming.
